Who is Running FMFA?

Christopher Dixon

(Head Coach)

“Growing up in Fort McMurray, I am proud to contribute to the growing football community and support our local youth. I grew up playing football at Westwood Community High School and eventually went on to play at the University of British Columbia. In my youth, football is what kept me motivated to stay in school and achieve my best both on and off the field. As a former CIS Academic All-Canadian, I know the immense value football can bring to those who love the game. As a dedicated teacher, athletic director, and Head Coach of the Fort McMurray Football Academy, my goal is to make a positive impact in the community in every way possible.”

Jasmine Murphy

(Head of Administration/ Assistant Coach)

Hello, I am Jasmine Murphy, the Head of Administration and Assistant Coach for Fort McMurray Football Academy. My role allows me to bring structure and support to the programs while ensuring smooth operations and a positive environment for growth and success on and off the field. My passion for organization and leadership allows me to gather the logistical aspects of the Program while also being able to work with players to enhance their skills. While I have always been a fan of football, my true passion lies in bringing people together through the sport. I believe in the power of sports to unite and inspire, and I love encouraging kids to step out of their comfort zones and strive for their goals. I'm looking forward to a great first season.
